The book, Operating in the Supernatural, was written by David O. Oyedepo. In this summary of Chapter 2, Working in the Supernatural, the author shares with us that the supernatural is our birthright as a born again believer; it confirms our Christianity. With that, the author wants us to understand what it takes to operate in the supernatural; it is a gift given to be worked on, for one to move in that realm.
How do we work in the supernatural?
You must Believe
To work in the supernatural, the author shares that you must believe that you are created for it. Faith is a solid foundation for supernatural manifestations of signs and wonders, (Mark 16:17-18). As Christians we must believe that we are all created for signs and wonders in redemption, which will make us to be a sign and a wonder to our world.
Possess a far-above Mentality
We also need a far-above mentality to operate effectively in the supernatural (Ephesians 2:6, 1:21-22). The author explains that we are seated together with God the Father in heavenly places far above principalities and powers, rulers of this wicked world and wicked spirits. We have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, translated into the kingdom of His own dear Son. The far-above mind-set is a powerful quality for working in the supernatural.
These are just two qualities possessed by those who consistently operate in the supernatural; discover more from the book.
